India Design ID 2025 Architecture Art Design Delhi

What is the future of design in India? It was recently a talkings point in the India Design Week 2025, as more than 150 Indian and international brands were performed. A big way in the field of expander NSIC exhibition in Okhla region of Delhi was that the future of art, architecture and interiors has not been divorced from a durable module. In fact, while the outdoor was observed by many brands, the design was given a lot of attention to include traditional crafts, with a contemporary twist.

Asian Paints Colornext presented its color and content intelligence forecasting the 22nd edition and named Cardinal as the color of the year. Apart from this, setting tone for both design and decoration in the next months was the forecast of stories from paint major: ‘more’, ‘salt’, ‘India everywhere’, and ‘bad taste?’. Fair elsewhere, ID Special Project, ‘Transition: Rithinking the Chair’, 45 versions of this seating staple were depicted, designed by 45 separate creators, which include Gunjan Gupta and Etelier Asesh Shah.

Fair director Misha Bains says, “India is currently passing through a transformative era culturally, perhaps an Renaissance. It is paving the way for that unique identity for Indian design on a global stage. In the next decade, instead of looking outwards, it is about looking inwards, which dives the rich crafts and inherited in India in India. I believe that design week is not only important in every country, but it is mandatory for the future development of the industry and it is such a platform that allows global audiences to interact with the local community. ,

Here are some stand-out designs which made our list:

Stone Art: Plants Paradise

In association with the concept of stability and traditional crafts, the sculpture planter collection of stone art paid an Ode for the heritage of the earth and fire. Prepassed by Brijesh Bansal, the founder of the design label, the products were lattice and hand painted in the fire. Each piece was locally citrus red-black soil-shaped.

Fusion of metals in river

The winder performance material was a will for exploration and sustainable craftsmanship that the owners of the house today want their residences. Designed by prominent designer and art director Harjot Singh, there were six separate setups on the ground floor that displayed the avant-garde internal stories yet.

While the products on the first floor were about state -of -the -art innovations in furniture design, an external setting further enhanced immersive experience, which strengthens the brand’s commitment to further the boundaries of luxury furniture. The Wriver displayed how the design of the house should not only be about internal places. There is a whole world of creativity when coming to external places.

Drapesy in Rafia Palm

The fully created walls increase the personality of a place. Drapesy’s showcase was a visual and touching journey in ‘#unseennarrararararaives: The Stories Walls Whisper’. The exhibition entered the craftsmanship and cultural depth behind each volcanting, the position of the walls as storytellers instead of surfaces only. As a trusted dealer of ARTE, Drapesy curated globally acclaimed collections, which introduced Indian architects and designers for world -class luxury volcanting. The brand also launched its brightness, merino and Ikaras collections at the event.

Zambia to A-Class Marble

While marking its fifth appearance in the India Design ID, A-Class marble unveiled its latest theme, ‘Art Alchemy’, prepared by Poonamchand Suthar of Theme Design Studio. The event also marked the launch of Angelo White, which is a good marble received from the brand’s own mines in Zambia, Africa. However, the show was stolen, however, there was an external installation called ‘Interlocking Ideal’ designed by Rajiv Parekh of Red Architects. This idea-stimulating piece converted the preamble of the Indian Constitution into a three-dimensional crossword puzzle that could give a unique twist to a private garden.

Persian artistry by hand carpets

Distinguished to trace the descent of Persian artistry in the art of hand -extinguished carpets, the latest collection of this brand had overlapping technology in vegetable silk that was everything complicated and fine. The brand also demonstrated its naughty collection in collaboration with Slovenian industrial designer Nika Zupank. And of course his signature was a series of Persian carpets that could create a human hand, which is a living testimony for details.

Plüsch invited Bulfrog

Designed by JMA Mumbai, bold with traditional narratives, famous for modern themes, Plüsch’s presentation celebrated liquidity between indoor and external places. The brand unveiled a smooth and sophisticated Egarsman kitchen, starting the German indoor-outdoor furniture brand bulfrog. While the kitchen and wardrobes remain central for the identification of plüsch, the showcase highlighted the continuous development of the brand, bringing curate and specific lifestyle solutions to the Indian market.

Clow Studio X Roshad

Razon Luxury Silverware unveiled two best chandeliers in collaboration with Clove Studios, known for its artisan blown glass lighting. The luxury silverware brand also joined with Roshad Shroff, which with modern luxury to re -connect the classic chaseboard to silver and gold merging Indian craftsmanship with modern luxury.

Designs fit large home -friendly designs fit into the moodboard, where space will not be a hindrance in displaying the details of these complex handcrafts by India’s best Silvermith using traditional techniques. The brand also showed its lily of the valley and the safari line collection. Kalyani Saha Chawla, founder and CEO of Razon Luxury Silverware, said, “My journey with Rejon began with a deep reverence for nature, its complex details and its flora and breathtaking beauty of the fauna. This deep connection is the strength behind every composition. Expressing their enthusiasm on cooperation, the founders of the Clove Studios, Pretake Jain and Gautam Seth said, “We are thrilled to partnership with Rezone on this exciting project. Their expertise in making the best silver household items fully complement our passion to prepare the novel artisan blowing glass lights. ,
