A few weeks before leaving college and moved to Mumbai, 22 -year -old Indie composer from Thiruvananthapuram, Aaron Kollasani Celestein, was racking his mind for the right poem for his song at a cafe in Kollam. Two days passed and he kept staring at his notebook, and empty Espresso Mag. Aran was looking for the right song in the language he struggles to write – Malayalam.
Finally, on the third day, Aron aka Auxomaniaq put a pen on the paper, with the verses of his latest single ‘Kanmashi’ manufactured by Fetbo Ricon, below the verses, which featured singer Arch Quaser.
“Kanmashi” started with just one instrument with a bass line and drums, which was sent to me by Fetboi Reckon. Once I heard it, I added a piano role as an interlude, giving the track a real feeling, which undergoes feelings of fear, conspiracy and bliss. “
The artist mixes a series of music styles in this song, performing a fluid quality-from Karnataka notes to R&B-while addressing the subjects of self-discovery and self-love. In Malayalam, verses have mentioned Manamdan and Gandharvan among the mysterious creatures associated with sex and love. On a Zoom Call in Mumbai, Aaron says, “I told Fetboi that the song should be about someone’s sexuality.
“It’s representative how I feel. My feelings were dynamic when I was detecting my identity as a person. And the place where I am not very open about such things. It’s not a traditional thing to wear, put it on the way you want Kanamashi (Kohal), wearing bangles, growing long hair or septum piercing, ”Aran is called.
Original story
The artist’s relationship with music began at the age of six when he joined the Carnatic vocal classes with his sister. He later joined a tabla class in 10, which he later left to learn the keyboard. “I was also going to leave, but somehow, I started growing into it,” Aran says.

“My father used to carefully take me to classes. My weekends were busy with the days of the week when I was a child. He sacrificed his weekend for me. And when I gave my music to my music, I started surrendering my music to my music,” Aron practiced nine hours a day.
He describes his routine, which became more rigid in the lockdown. “I was one of the students who did not have to write Class 12 board exams. During this time, I made cover songs – to include my skills in vocals, production, shooting and editing. A friend of mine, Raven suggested that we make original music.
Aaron started in 2021 with ‘mistakes’, which was a track about craving. His discography includes 21 songs and cooperation with artists like Anskil ji, Adil and Moksha Vibe.
Go to Mumbai
Earlier this year, Aran moved to Mumbai in “A Polarizing Call”, leaving a degree in computer science in the final year. “This was a need for me. The seriousness with which I am trying to make music needs to facilitate such decisions. I went to Mumbai because I have labels and there are people on whom I can count. I can also.

“My parents did not support the decision,” they say. The artist believes that his parents have created a platform to launch them through their hard work, and they do not expect them to understand the industry, as they also have a gap in knowledge about it. “If I was not for my father, I would not have been in music and I am still doing something that he has provided in a different way.”
In May, Aron won the Indian Music Diaries 2025 App of the Year Award for ‘Bauh’ for ‘explained’ released in 2024. “That EP almost did not come out. I wanted a blind heavy album, but I did not have money to make it.” Close by me “This is one of my second songs.”
‘Explained twice’ was an attempt to understand the exhibition and the boundaries of the artist and perform music that likes him. He said, “EP gave me a lot of confidence in my work as a producer and a lyricist.”
Aaron is currently working on two EPS. One of them, titled ‘Varathmanam’, will be in Malayalam, as the composer’s purpose is to challenge his abilities again. The second EP is a dance project that brings various dance cultures together.
He says, “I am happy that I am getting an Avenue to speak, which most people do not do; I do magazine in this way that most people do not. I am happy that I can tell stories through my songs.”
