In recent times, small -budget films have been stunning audiences with powerful content. While they may have a shortage of big publicity budgets, the storytelling often crosses the Big-Banner Productions. InquiryStreaming on Zee5 is a good example of this trend.
It is a tight pack thriller that lasts for just 95 minutes and does not give you a moment to breathe. With an attractive conspiracy and strong performance, the film is a clock for suspense drama lovers.

The story revolves around the mysterious murder of a retired judge. Four close acquaintances they meet on the day of murder are doubted. Thus there is a series of intensive inquiries. As the layers emerge, the truth that comes out will surprise you. The film plays with your expectations, and when you think you have understood it, it flipped the game.
Review:
Inquiry There is a solid thriller. If you enjoy suspense filled narratives that keep guessing you till the end, the film will not disappoint. The screenplay is tight, and the story has no unnecessary stretch. In fact, it moves so fast that you also want it to be slightly tall – which is rare for the thriller. Each character gets limited screen time, but the effect is strong, thanks to excellent casting.
Display:
Performance in Inquiry The film has a big force. Rajpal Yadav offers a controlled yet impressive performance, showing one of his aspects that is beyond his normal comic roles. Yashpal Sharma originally fits his share and adds weight to each scene.
As expected Darshan Jariwala brings a calm intensity, while Girish Kulkarni and Manu Singh leave a concrete impression – especially Manu, which gives a stunning turn. Abhimanyu Singh, despite a brief role, stands out, and Rutuja Shinde proves to be a strong appearance, affecting both her screen appearance and acting chops.
Each actor, even a limited screen over time, makes his character memorable and effectively contributes to the mystery of the film.
Writing and direction:
The story is written by Sanil Kokte, Harsh Shah and Ajoz Verma Raja, and he has done a commendable job of preparing a tight, attractive story. Suspense is maintained, and not writing. Directed by Ajoy Verma Raja, the film is shot at limited places, but it never feels like a boundary – a will for smart direction and storytelling.
