Paul Walter Hauser recently hit out at Vin Diesel for abusing people on set, and said he doesn’t want any comparisons to be made with him.
A few days ago, Inside Out 2 voice actor Paul Walter Hauser took a dig at Vin Diesel during an interview and called him out for his unprofessional behaviour on the set. Two weeks later, Paul apologised for his remarks and shared a lengthy statement on his Instagram. He said that he made an ‘unnecessarily mean comment’ which was not needed. Paul apologized for his remarks
In his post shared on Sunday, Paul wrote: “A few weeks ago, I made a random comment about Vin Diesel. It started out somewhat jokingly, but I later heard about his behavior on multiple occasions from multiple sources.”
He then added, “I shot overnight on Friday, got 1 hour of sleep and then flew from ATL to LA at 6am to do a full day of press for Inside Out 2. I was exhausted and in my exhausted state, I casually made a mean comment. That comment was recorded and then went viral.”

He said, “I just want to say that I’m sorry I made those comments. I get really angry at some of the behaviour I’ve seen or heard about and “outing” people to any extent can provide a momentary sense of satisfaction.”
He tagged Vin Diesel and then added, “As a self-proclaimed Christian, I must do a better job of loving people and not try to “right a wrong,” or allow my ego to present itself with any kind of verbal flexibility. This is not appropriate for our culture at all, and it can hurt other people. @vindiesel – I apologize. Thank you for entertaining and making so many people happy. I’m trying to do the same. It’s time for me to shut up. I make a fool of myself sometimes.”
Paul has previously responded to rumors of Vin Diesel’s bad behavior on set, and expressed his annoyance at being compared to the actor who voices Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy. Paul voices Shyness in Inside Out 2.
