Mumbai: Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan surprised fans by sharing an adorable picture with her half-brother Azad, revealing that Azad was the most excited about her wedding.
Ira shared an adorable picture with her younger brother on her Instagram stories. In the picture, Ira looks stunning in her white wedding gown while she is seen hugging Azad, who is wearing a black gown.
“The only person who was as excited about Rob as I was. Great minds think alike,” Ira captioned the photo.
Azad Rao Khan is the younger son of Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao. As soon as Ira posted the pictures, her husband Nupur took to the comments section and added a love and heart emoji on the picture. Earlier, Nupur had shared a picture of their vibrant pajama party, which took place in Udaipur ahead of their wedding. Nupur posted several pictures of the pajama party on her Instagram on Monday.
In the pictures, Ira is seen wearing comfortable pajamas and her hair tied in two cute buns while Nupur is wearing a lungi.
In another photo, Ira is seen resting her chin on Nupur’s hand, while Nupur is seen in her typical style. The “Pajama Party” banner is prominently visible in the background.
Along with the pictures, Nupur captioned the post, “Gavathi Babu and Gori Mem. P.S. suspect appropriate song.” As soon as she shared the pictures, fans instantly flooded the comments section with heart emoticons.
Ira married her longtime boyfriend Nupur in traditional Christian rituals in Udaipur, Rajasthan, after formalising their relationship through a registered marriage at Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai on January 3.
From veteran actor Dharmendra to former cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, several B-town celebs marked their presence at the wedding reception. Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan arrived at the ceremony with her daughter Shweta Bachchan.
Veteran actresses Rekha and Saira Banu also arrived to bless the newlyweds. Talking about the hosts, Aamir Khan and all his family members were dressed in their finest. Ira’s cousin and actor Imran Khan was also present at the ceremony. However, Aamir’s ex-wife Kiran Rao was not present.
Reportedly, Nupur and Ira met during the COVID-19 lockdown. Aamir Khan and Ira were living with her father. The two got engaged in November last year.
