Mumbai: Pakistani star Fawad Khan may return to Indian cinema with a romantic-comedy film, also starring Vaani Kapoor.
The project is directed by Aarti Bagri and will be shot entirely in the UK.
“Fawad Khan has a huge international following given his popularity among South Asians. He has also been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
The details of the project are being kept under wraps and everyone is tight-lipped. A trade source was quoted as saying that the makers will announce the project just before filming begins in the UK.
This romantic comedy will tell the story of how two broken people come together by fate and help each other and eventually fall in love.
The as-yet-untitled film is Eastwood Studios’ first international collaboration.
This update has got Fawad Khan’s fans in India extremely excited. Fawad last acted in a Hindi language film eight years ago. He has worked in Indian films like ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, ‘Kapoor & Sons’ and ‘Khoobsurat’.
