Produced by Karan Johar, the Hindi film will screen in a certain area of the United Nations of the prestigious festival on 21 May.
Johar and actor Jahnavi Kapoor, who also acts in “Homebound”, are also in Cannes for the film’s showcase.
Master filmmaker Martin Scorscie is included in the film as an executive producer.
Khatar shared a series of paintings on his Instagram handle on Sunday.

Johar uploaded a video showing the clear blue sky of the ear on his Instagram story.
Jethwa shared a series of reels on Instagram, as he was on the way to the festival. The official summary of “Homebound” states: “Two childhood friends from a small northern Indian village chase a police job, promising to them that they have been denied for a long time. But as they inch their dreams around their dreams, the growing frustration has threatened the bonding bonding them.”
“Homebound” is the second film of Ghaywan Set, which is its premiere in Cannes. Earlier, under the direction of Ghaywan, “Masan”, starring Richa Chadha and Vicky Kaushal, premiered in the same category a decade ago.
