On the occasion of the festival, actor Lakshya Khurana, who plays Aditya in Ishq Jabariya on Sun Neo, opens up about his festive plans, favorite memories and what makes Lohri so special for him.
Talking about his love for the festival, Lakshya Khurana shared, “Lohri holds a special place in my heart as it celebrates the warmth of family and community. It’s all about coming together, lighting a bonfire and enjoying traditional dishes. This festival reminds me of my roots and the importance of being grateful for the harvest and all the good things in life.
The Ishq Jabariya actor further added, “I love celebrating Lohri with close friends and family. We gather around the bonfire, sing traditional songs and dance to the beat of the drum. Sweets like Gajak and Revdi are a must! This year, I will be shooting for Ishq Jabariya on Sun Neo and celebrating with my reel-life family. Even though I am away from home, the festive spirit will definitely make this day special. It’s all about getting warm wherever we are.”
When asked about his favorite part of the festival, the talented actor recalled, “One of my fondest memories is from my childhood. I and my cousins used to gather around the bonfire, dance and enjoy the festivities. The laughter and excitement were contagious, and it felt like nothing could beat the joy of those moments.”
He concluded, “For me, the best part of Lohri is the warmth of the bonfire. It symbolizes new beginnings and the light we bring to each other’s lives. The laughter, dancing and shared moments make this a festival I really look forward to every year.”
