New Delhi: Actress Whitney Purwis, ’16 and pregnant’ son Weston Owen Gosa died at the age of 16 for her role.
Whitney shared heartbreaking news on social media, saying, “It is very difficult to write. My beautiful son, Weston has passed away. He was only 16 years old. Life is very cruel and unfair,” he said in a Facebook post.
“I can’t understand yet. Oh my child is gone and I don’t know what to do with myself. He was very right. It is really my worst dream true,” he expressed.
In his post, Parvis asked, “How do you walk in life after losing a child? I am in disbelief, it may not happen. I don’t want it to be real. I will do anything to catch him. The word can’t just describe the pain that I feel.”
He said, “I love you very much, Weston Owen Gosa. God, I love you very much. You are my heart. I was very proud of the young man who was becoming you. I can’t just go without you.”
“Relaxation in peace, my angel. You have gone very soon. April 2, 2009 – June 2, 2025,” he concluded.
Later, Purvis updated his profile picture with a young Weston.
Later he made another post, mourning his son, “Rest in Peace, My Baby Weston. I love you forever, precious. I will never understand why life is so cruel. You will always be my children.”
While actress Whitney Parce did not attach the exact cause of Weston’s death, however, according to Hindustan Times, Weston’s stepmother, Amy Gosa revealed that he was struggling with many health issues.
“We all know that we got up around 7 am today and tried to awaken it, he was not breathing, we tried CPR and called an ambulance. Paramedics also tried it and took him to Gordon County Hospital, where he was declared dead.
He had many health issues as well as diabetes. We are completely broken and shocked. It was very unexpected. Losing a child is the most painful thing that I have ever experienced and I hope I will never experience it again.
He was the most amazing son I could be asked for. He was fantastic, smart, funny and had so much ability in life. It does not seem real. Please keep our family and Whitney in your thoughts and prayers because we mourn the wonderful life that was our son. Thanks, “He concluded.
