Mumbai: Jul 20 Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, who will next be seen in the spy thriller “Uljhan”, was discharged from hospital on Saturday after receiving treatment for food poisoning.
According to media reports, Janhvi has now recovered, although she still has some weakness. Her father Boney Kapoor, sister Khushi Kapoor and alleged boyfriend Shikhar Pahadia are helping her.
The actress was admitted to a hospital in South Mumbai after her health deteriorated on Thursday.
Lately, the actress has been quite busy after her recent release, Mr and Mrs Mahi, in which she starred opposite Rajkummar Rao. She is looking forward to her upcoming release ‘Uljhan’, in which she will be seen opposite Gulshan Devaiah.
On Tuesday, the actress returned to Mumbai from Chennai and complained of health issues. She cancelled all her appointments for Wednesday to rest and recuperate. However, her food poisoning worsened on Thursday after which she was rushed to the hospital.
On the work front, the actress also has ‘Devra: Part 1’ in the pipeline. This is her Telugu debut film, which also stars ‘RRR’ star NTR Jr and Saif Ali Khan.
Directed by Koratala Siva, the film will release in theatres on September 27.
