Mumbai: After a successful run in theatres, Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ is now all set to begin its journey on OTT.
‘Mr. and Mrs. Mahi’ is directed by Sharan Sharma, who is known for his debut directorial film ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’.
The streaming platform took to Instagram to inform fans about the film’s OTT announcement date.
Sharing the poster of the film, he wrote, “The story is amazing. Mr and Mrs Mahi is coming straight to your screens, midnight on Netflix!”
The film will stream from July 26.
The film showcases Janhvi’s dedication and resilience in taking on a challenging role that takes her out of her comfort zone.
In the film, Janhvi plays the role of doctor-turned-cricketer Mahi, a role that requires a lot of preparation and commitment. For nearly two years, she trained rigorously to master the sport, which reflects her dedication to authenticity in her character.
‘Mr. and Mrs. Mahi’ is Janhvi and Sharan’s second film together. This is also Janhvi and Rajkumar’s second film together. Earlier, this pair was seen in ‘Roohi’.
Meanwhile, Janhvi is all set to be seen in the action thriller film ‘Uljhan’. Directed by National Award winner Sudhanshu Saria, the patriotic thriller also stars Gulshan Devaiah and ‘The Poacher’ fame Roshan Mathew in lead roles.
It also stars Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Sachin Khedekar, Rajendra Gupta and Jitendra Joshi in pivotal roles.
On the other hand, Rajkummar is prepping for the much-awaited horror comedy ‘Stree 2’.
