Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Ravena Tandon condemned the Supreme Court.

New Delhi: After the Supreme Court passed the decision to transfer all stray dogs in Delhi-NCR to shelters, several celebrities took their opposition to social media to give voice to the order. Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Chinmai Sripada, Varun Grover, Raveena Tandon and Veer Das have spoken against the verdict.

According to the order, stray dogs in the capital will be raised within eight weeks and placed in dedicated shelters to be established by the concerned authorities.

Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan strongly shared the word petition

Actors Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan re -shared a petition on Instagram, paying attention to the Supreme Court’s order.

Janhvi filed a petition on her Instagram stories, strongly criticized the move. The statement said: “They call it a threat. We call it a heartbeat. Today, the Supreme Court says that every scary dog takes the dogs to the streets of Delhi-NCR and closes them. No sunshine. No freedom. No familiar faces they do not greet in the morning. But these are not just stray dogs.”

It states: “They are the ones who wait outside your tea stall for a biscuit. They are silent night guards for shopkeepers. They are children when children return from school. They are a cold, heat in the city.”

The note argued that “a society that cannot protect its soundless is a society that is losing its soul,” and suggested options such as sterilization programs, vaccination drives, community feeding areas and adoption operations.

Siddharth Anand, Raveena Tandon, Veer Das also speak

Varun Dhawan also rejected the same petition, while filmmaker Siddharth Anand criticized the order, writing:

“There is no compassion left. Who will take care of their food there? At least on the streets, there are some sympathetic humans who feed these poor souls. They will die of hunger and thirst there, and that death warrants have been signed. Please, someone started a petition, and let’s stop this massacre.”

Actor-comedian Veer Das shared photos on his own pets adopted by roads, urging Delhi’s residents to adopt Indi dogs.

“They are extremely healthy, low maintenance, and will give you more love, affection and gratitude, as much as you can ever imagine,” he wrote, encouraging donations to animal welfare NGOs.

Singer Chinmai Sripada called the order “a death sentence for all dogs” and criticized the abandonment of pure dogs in India after overbriding.

Dhanashree Verma urged the people to adopt the stars and contribute generously to the shelters so that animals get the least basic facilities.

Raveena Tandon blamed the disability in sterilization and vaccination drives by local authorities, arguing that lack of preventive measures gave rise to SC’s decision.

He said, “Where the population of the Indies has increased, it honest these poor dogs have not been convicted. This means that vaccination and sterilization drives are not being done by local bodies,” he told HT City.

SC order

A bench by Justices JB Pardwala and R Mahadevan ordered on Monday that all areas of Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and Ghaziabad should be freed from stray dogs without any agreement. SC also said that no occupied animals would be released back on the streets.
