Jay-Z accused of ‘raping’ a minor with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in 2000: He responded, ‘You did a terrible thing…’

Jay-Z has been added to a civil lawsuit accusing both him and disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs of allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000, NBC News reports Is.

Jay-Z has been named in a civil lawsuit with Diddy,

The lawsuit, initially filed in October by Texas-based lawyer Tony Buzbee in the Southern District of New York, now also names an American rapper whose real name is Shawn Carter. The accuser, identified as Jane Doe, claims the attack occurred after she was invited to the MTV Video Music Awards after-party.

The federal lawsuit that previously accused Diddy of misconduct was refiled on Sunday to include Carter as well. According to the outlet, Buzbee wrote in the lawsuit, “Prior to the re-filed lawsuit, Carter received a letter from plaintiff’s attorney requesting mediation to resolve this matter.”

The lawsuit alleges that after being turned down to an awards show without tickets, the accuser contacted various limousine drivers in an effort to gain entry. A driver claimed to work for Diddy and invited him to an after-party. When she returned, she was taken to a white house where she signed what she believed to be a non-disclosure agreement.

The party was full of celebrities and drugs. He was given a drink that worsened his condition. Diddy Combs and Carter later assaulted her while an unnamed female celebrity watched.

Prosecutors are seeking unspecified damages, and the lawsuit is filed under New York’s Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act.

Jay Z responded to the allegations

According to Variety, in response, Jay-Z claimed that his lawyer received “blackmail” from Tony Buzbee in an attempt to force a settlement. Instead, the rapper chose to publicly challenge the allegations as fraudulent.

“You have made a terrible error of judgment in thinking that all ‘celebrities’ are the same. I am not from your moral world. “I’m a young guy who made it from the projects in Brooklyn,” Carter reportedly wrote.

“We don’t play these kinds of games. We have very strict codes and honors. We protect children, it seems you exploit people for personal gain. Only your network of conspiracy theorists, fake physics, would believe the idiotic claims you have leveled against me, which would be ridiculous if not for the seriousness of harming children.

Combs was arrested on charges including sex trafficking, racketeering and other sexual assault counts, to which he refused to plead not guilty. Recently, his third bail was rejected by the appeals court, and after being arrested on September 16, he is currently lodged in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. Combs will remain behind bars until his trial on May 5, 2025. And if found guilty, he may have to face life imprisonment.
