New Delhi: This year’s budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has become a topic of discussion as many are expressing their displeasure over it. The Finance Minister has promised several new projects and also given tax breaks to working professionals.
However, the budget has not lived up to the expectations and the common man is not very happy with it. And now Bollywood veteran actress and politician Jaya Bachchan has also criticized the budget.

When asked about his views on the budget, he quipped to ANI, “I have no reaction. This is a budget, a reactionary one. Nothing. It’s just a drama. The promises which will be made on paper will not be implemented. That’s all.”
Jaya Bachchan is one of the most empowered women in the industry and for the past many years, she has been a strong critic of the ruling party and never fails to express her views if she finds something unfair.
Other celebrities from the ruling party turned politicians who praised the budget include Kangana Ranaut, Shatrughan Sinha and Chirag Paswan. Former Shark Tank judge and businessman Ashneer Grover called the budget a waste of time and said he would rather see another Ambani wedding.
