The sale of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s $68 million Beverly Hills mansion has suffered another setback.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have crossed another milestone in their long struggle to sell their $68 million Beverly Hills mansion amid their divorce. A couple agreed to buy their massive mansion, however, according to a report from TMZ, they have pulled out of the deal due to a death in their family. They were going to buy the home for $64 million, which was the original price offered by Lopez and Affleck for their home. The New Jersey couple is still interested in buying the mansion despite the recent tragedy in their family.

J.Lo and Affleck will remain in their Beverly Hills home
The Hollywood couple agreed to sell the home for $64 million, whereas they bought it for $60 million in cash. Although the sale price is higher than the price they bought it for, it is $4 million less than their proposed price. According to Page Six’s report, Affleck and J.Lo will sell the home in the red, with all additional expenses included, including the $5.25% increased mansion tax, realtor fees, and the millions of dollars spent to renovate their previous home.
The Gigli co-stars first listed their Beverly Hills home in July, attempting to sell it quietly amid rumors of their split.
This massive mansion includes a 5,000-acre guesthouse, a caretaker house, a two-bedroom guardhouse, and a massive 12-car garage that can hold up to 80 vehicles. It is also equipped with a gym, a boxing ring, basketball and pickleball courts, and a sports lounge.
In early September, a source told People that Lopez never liked the mansion and that it was the Batman actor’s idea, but it was “a great compromise” on her part. “She agreed to it because of its spacious layout, space for both families to live, a gym and a pickleball court, office space, plus it has two private entrances,” they added.

J.Lo and Affleck’s current residence
The former Hollywood couple moved out of the house over the summer to be closer to their kids. They spent the season apart from each other before J.Lo filed for divorce in August. Meanwhile, Affleck bought himself a $20.5 million mansion in Pacific Palisades in July. Lopez is still looking for a new place to call home after selling her New York apartment. She was last spotted inspecting a $22 million bachelor pad in Beverly Hills last month.
