Jennifer Lopez’s summer plans have taken an unexpected turn. The superstar abruptly cancelled her ‘This Is Me…Now’ tour, leaving fans with more questions than answers. JLo released a brief statement explaining why she is calling off the shows despite everything being planned and tickets going on sale. However, fans think there’s more to the story. Could this be a result of the rumours in her relationship with Ben Affleck, or is there something else going on? With rumours of low ticket sales and other factors, JLo is in the headlines again, but not for the reasons she expected.
Jennifer Lopez cancels her upcoming tour
The pop icon dropped a huge bombshell on her fans on May 31 when she announced the cancellation of her This Is Me… Now Tour. The 30-city tour was meant to celebrate the win, but the Jenny From the Block singer apologized to her fans in her OnTheJLo newsletter and assured them she’ll make up for her mistake in the future.
“I am completely sorry and disappointed for letting you down,” she wrote. “Please know that I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t feel it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”

Why is Jennifer Lopez canceling her upcoming tour?
The news of her tour cancellation comes just a day after reports emerged that MGM Grand was feeling ‘nervous’ about her $90 million Las Vegas residency due to poor sales. “MGM is seeing that she’s not doing well on the tour. They’re very nervous,” an insider previously told PageSix.
Now, a separate source tells ET that the real reason behind this decision has to do with her family. For the past several months, JLo and Ben Affleck have been circulating split rumors, with the two reportedly living separately during this difficult time. “Jennifer is taking time off to spend time with her kids, family and close friends,” the source said.
Originally titled This Is Me…Now reflecting her rekindled love with Ben Affleck, the rebranded This Is Me…Live was created to celebrate her triumphant return following her 2019 tour. The tour reportedly grossed over $50 million with sold-out venues at all stops. However, the source insisted that the decision to cancel the tour was not due to poor ticket sales, but instead, it was due to personal circumstances and a desire to be with her children.
