Diane was nominated in the Best Actress category at the Oscars along with Nicole Kidman (The Hours), Julianne Moore (Far from Heaven), Salma Hayek (Frida) and Renée Zellweger (Chicago). Nicole won an Oscar that year. Jennifer has yet to earn an Oscar nomination.

‘it haunts me’
Jennifer continued, “It’s funny. It makes me nervous. It makes me nervous a little bit. It’s like the one I got rejected in that it was just like, ‘Why did you refuse to work with Adrian Lynn? What were you thinking?’ I didn’t even know what was going on in my mind at that time. Who knows what was happening to me at that time.”
In Kiss of the Spider Woman, Diego Luna plays a political prisoner during the Argentine Civil War in the 1980s, imprisoned with another man portrayed by Tonatiuh. It is directed by Bill Condon, best known for directing the critically acclaimed films Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 1 and Beauty and the Beast. It was released in theaters on 10 October.
