According to a source at Radar Online, the Jenny From the Block singer “wants half of Ben’s approximately $150 million estate, while her own net worth is far greater — around $400 million.” Some see the move as a way of taking revenge on Ben, claiming he handled more of the financial responsibilities during their short-lived marriage.

They paint Ben Affleck as a “very miser” who constantly complained about Lopez’s spending habits. Apparently, to avoid his complaints, the “driven diva” shouldered most of the expenses to maintain her luxurious lifestyle.
“A secret that few people know is that Jennifer paid for the majority of their marital expenses and now she feels she owes him,” the source claimed. “She’s adding up all his private jet bills, the plastics, the hotels and food he spent, the clothes, the coffee, the gas. The high cost of living was all covered with her money. He also paid for a large portion of that $60 million mansion they bought,” they added. “Ben took a lot of money from her, at least that’s what she’s saying.”
The report suggests that the rumored breakup has made the star realize the situation, earlier, Lopez’s relatives had asked her to separate from Affleck, as they believed that she should not continue trying for a man who gave up on their marriage so easily.
