What did Ojani say?
“I can tell you from experience, we would disagree in the car and then 20 minutes later, we would have to sit down and pretend that everything was okay. But you can only pretend so much. When we were going through hell and going out as a couple, I was in a bad mood too. Because I knew deep down that we were no good. I didn’t like going on the red carpet at all. She would try to convince me to come and I would say: ‘No. I’m not going to pretend,'” Ojani said.
He said Ben Affleck also looked similarly upset on the red carpet with Jennifer. He said he understands Ben because they both have tried to boost Jennifer’s confidence over the past few years. Ojani said he doesn’t know how much more love she needs or wants, since she has already been married four times.
“Be single for a while, take 12 months off. If she meets someone new, maybe keep it private and not get married again. She has a great career and she’s a hardworking, beautiful woman, but when you’re with someone, you should spend quality time with them and not think about being on camera,” Ojani said.
Jennifer’s Relationships
Cuban waiter Ojani was married to Jennifer for less than a year from February 1997 to January 1998. Their bitter rift came after Jennifer went to court to stop Ojani from writing a book about their marriage and using their honeymoon footage for a documentary.
She then married her former back-up dancer Cris Judd in 2001, but they divorced two years later. She was already in a relationship with Ben by the time the divorce was finalized. They got engaged in 2002, but broke it off in 2004. Her longest marriage was with singer Marc Antony, with whom she has two children.
Jennifer reconnected with Ben in 2021, marrying him last year, before filing for divorce last month. On the work front, Jennifer will next be seen in Unstoppable and Kiss of the Spider Woman.
