BTS Jimin is all set to launch his new song Who for fans around the world. The singer will also return to Jimmy Fallon’s show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, to perform the song. Jimmy mocks Jimin’s performance on his show
On Instagram, Jimmy Fallon posted a short clip of himself and Jimin. The video begins with Jimmy sitting in front of his laptop, drinking water from a can that says ‘Dr Jimin’ and watching a teaser for Who. A photo frame of Jimin hangs on the wall behind him.
The camera then panned to the wall next to him, where several items of Chimmy and TinyTan Jimin were placed. It also has an LED of the Who logo. As the lights flicker, Who transforms into Jimin? Jimin yelled ‘Jimin’ and ran to the window, but he saw that the singer had gone to the set of the music video.

Sharing the video, Jimmy wrote, “Guess who?! #Jimin of @bts.bighitofficial is back for a special performance on Who on Monday, July 22 at 11:35/10:35c on @nbc! #JiminOnFallon #FallonTonight.” Jimin will perform on Who on July 22. The song will be released on Friday.
BTS fans talk about Jimin’s performance
Reacting to the video, a BTS fan said, “BTS recently chose Jimmy Fallon as the only host to promote them and trusted him (even in the army) while they have been guests on many American shows in the past, it shows that Fallon was the only real person who treated them with real respect. I love their friendship.” One comment read, “Jimin prepared a lot for us before he went to the army.”
One person wrote, “This is the best surprise. Jimin and the other members prepared so many things for us before he went to the army so we don’t miss him… I’m crying.” An Instagram user said, “Jimin worked so hard before he went to the army.”
“Wow I’m so excited for this! I can’t wait! It’ll be a gift to all of us we love you Jimin and thank you so much for supporting us @jimmyfallon,” another fan said.
About Jimin’s album and upcoming shows
Jimin is currently serving in the South Korean army. Jimin is set to release his second solo album, titled Muse, on July 19. Muse will include seven tracks, including the fan song Closer Than This, to be released in December 2023. Jimin’s first album was Faces.
Fans will also see Jimin alongside BTS member Jungkook in his travel reality series Are You Sure. The series promises an intimate look at the duo’s trips across three different locations – New York, Jeju Island (South Korea), and Sapporo (Japan). It is set to premiere on Disney+ on August 8. The eight-part series will air new episodes every Thursday, concluding on September 19.
