HYBE labels’ BTS and SEVENTEEN swapped places on the July boy group brand reputation rankings, with the latter holding the top spot in June.
According to the Korean Business Research Institute’s brand ranking for male idol groups, BTS regained the spot previously held by Seventeen, scoring a brand reputation index of 5,555,349. The monthly survey analyzed the cumulative results of various factors including media coverage, consumer involvement, interaction and community index for boy groups from June 13 to July 13.
July data showed the seven-member band leading the index, which saw a 35.67% increase from June’s score. The popular South Korean music band led the chart despite the group’s ongoing hiatus until 2025. Even during the long break, during which the members are physically away from the music scene to fulfill their military duties, the group has continued to release content to keep their fans entertained.

BTS dominates July’s boy group brand reputation rankings
Amidst a series of splashy announcements revealing each member’s upcoming releases, BTS recently announced that a possible theatrical release with Jungkook is “coming soon.”
Additionally, some variety show updates regarding Jungkook and Jimin’s August Disney Plus “Are You Sure” series and Jin’s alleged guest appearance for an upcoming outdoor adventure reality show episode are also on the cards.
As far as music releases go, Jimin’s second solo album, “Muse,” is set to be released on Friday, July 19. Presumably, these unforgettable revelations are attributed to the boy group’s growth this month.
High-ranking phrases associated with the group’s keyword analysis included “ARMY,” “Jimin” and “digital music.” Some other high-ranking phrases were “perform,” “participate,” and “release.”
According to the latest data, the group also received 92.18% positive responses.
Just behind BTS members, Seventeen ranked second with a brand reputation index of 4,560,496.
