Jennifer Lopez is reportedly upset over rumors that Ben Affleck , 52, is dating the much-younger Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy. The Let’s Get Loud singer filed for divorce from the Argo actor on August 20 after months of speculation about their growing differences. Although their divorce has yet to be finalized, Affleck is already being linked to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s second-eldest child.

With Affleck and Kennedy dating rumors swirling on social media, a source told In Touch about Lopez’s frustration. “The news is that Ben and Kik are spending time together and getting to know each other. Ben is telling people that it’s none of his business. He won’t reveal who he’s friends with, and the sooner he and J.Lo can get this divorce over with and move on with their lives, the better,” the insider said.

“But J.Lo feels there’s no smoke without fire,” the source continued, adding, “She’s furious at the idea that he’s pursuing her at the same time she’s fighting tooth and nail to save the marriage, and there’s no way she’s going to let that go.” Despite the insider’s claims, a rep for Affleck told the outlet that the rumors of him dating Kennedy are “not true.”
However, In Touch’s insider added that even if there’s nothing going on between her and Affleck, he won’t be alone for long. “The truth is, Kick is young and beautiful and exactly his type. It’s no wonder everyone is assuming something is going on, even if Ben is trying to downplay it,” the source said, adding that the Hypnotic star “isn’t going to be sitting alone for long. He’s ready to enjoy his life again.”

The source further explained that since Lopez and Affleck have been “separated for about six months now,” he is not someone who “always lives like a hermit.” However, the On the Floor hitmaker “is not willing to make this easy on herself,” the insider added. “She is devastated, and the news that Ben is dating a woman almost 20 years younger than her, whether she admits it or not, is making her even more upset.”
