New Delhi: John Abraham is a self-made star, he has made his place by doing action films and in his last release Pathan, he gave a stellar performance as always and gave a tough competition to Shahrukh Khan. But there was a time when John Abraham had to struggle to get work.
Johan faced a downfall in his career and things were not in his favor, where many articles were written about him that his career is over.
John, who will next be seen in Veda opposite Bollywood actress Sharvari, talks about the time how articles about his ended career made him struggle to find work for four years.

In his interview with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, John said, “Because I was not happy with the films I was doing and the films I was watching. I wanted to change things… Everyone has an X and a Y axis in their life. The AZ axis came into my life. Suddenly, people started looking at me as more than just a bulky guy. They started believing that I have a brain too. They realised that I can make different kinds of films, like Vicky Donor, Parmanu, Batla House… The first turning point in my life was Jism, then Dhoom, and then when I became a producer.”
John revealed that he didn’t get work for 4 years before Parmanu and how he dealt with it, “Yes, I am always happy. I never feel insecure. Before Parmanu, when I didn’t work for four years, a lot of new people came into the industry. I was told I was done, I was finished, I was out. When Parmanu released, I didn’t even understand if I was in or out. It worked. Just keep working. Even when I was ‘free’, I didn’t stop working. Just work hard, people will see your sincerity.”
John Abraham has come a long way and indeed any outsider can take inspiration from this star when it comes to survival.
