WWF wrestler turned actor John Cena wore a desi outfit to attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding in Mumbai. John Cena at Anant and Radhika’s wedding
John chose a striking powder blue sherwani and white pants with beautiful ivory detailing for the occasion. On the red carpet, he struck his iconic ‘You Can’t See Me’ pose, adding a touch of his wrestling persona to the wedding. He also wore a traditional safa tied in a beautiful shade of white and gold at the venue.
Anant’s father Mukesh Ambani thanked John for coming to the wedding. They shook hands, before Mukesh said, “You are welcome, thank you very much for coming.” Mukesh also shook hands with a man who lives with John, who was also tied a safa (turban) at the wedding venue.
John was seen dancing in the procession, talking to one of the wedding guests and even smiling as he hugged him. In a short clip posted online, other wedding guests can also be seen dancing to dhol music in the procession.
John arrived in Mumbai for the wedding on Friday morning. The paparazzi called him ‘John Babu’ and ‘John Kaka’, and he waved at them before heading to the hotel.

Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, Kushi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh were spotted arriving at the Jio World Convention Centre on Friday evening. Other guests who attended the wedding include Rajinikanth, Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh, Priyanka Chopra Nick Jonas, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and others.
Futurist Peter Diamandis, artist Jeff Koons, self-help coach Jay Shetty, former British Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, former US Secretary of State John Kerry, former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt and former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, along with many other celebrities, politicians and business tycoons, will also be there.

Following traditional Hindu Vedic rituals, the main celebrations will begin with the Shubh Vivaah or wedding ceremony on Friday, July 12. The celebrations will continue with Shubh Aashirwad on Saturday, July 13. The final event, the Mangal Utsav or wedding reception, is scheduled for Sunday, July 14.
