The iconic rock star was in the right place at the right time on Tuesday when he stepped in to help a woman in distress on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville, Tennessee. While filming a music video in Nashville, Bon Jovi intervened to stop the woman from jumping off the bridge. His quick thinking and kind words helped her get to safety. The Nashville Police Department later thanked the singer and his team for the successful rescue.
Jon Bon Jovi saves ‘woman in distress’ from jumping overboard
According to PEOPLE, while shooting a music video, Jon Bon Jovi and his team noticed a woman standing on the edge of a bridge in Nashville. Video shared by the Nashville Police Department shows the musician approaching and talking to the woman, with another man slowly joining them.

Although it is unclear what was said, the group convinced the woman to back off the ledge. The It’s My Life singer continued talking in her video and then showed them helping her climb over the railing after which the three of them left together.
“Thank you to @jonbonjovi and his team for helping a woman on the Siegenthaler Ped Bridge on Tuesday night,” Metro Nashville Police Department officials wrote on their X (formerly Twitter) channel. “Bon Jovi helped her get off the cliff above the Cumberland River and onto a safer spot.” “We need everyone’s help in keeping each other safe,” Chief John Drake said in a statement that accompanied the video.
