Jordan E Cooper joins the cast of ‘Freaky Friday 2’

American playwright and actor Jordan E Cooper has joined the cast of Disney’s ‘The Last of Us’. Freaky Friday 2 In the role of Jet, report deadlineThe sequel also stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan, Mark Harmon, and Chad Michael Murray.

Released in 2003, freaky Friday Curtis plays Tess’s straight-talking mother and Lohan plays Anna, the rebellious daughter. When a mysterious fortune cookie forces them to switch bodies, the two must learn to accept each other unconditionally – just in time for Tess’s wedding and Anna’s big concert with her band.

Nisha Ganatra is directing it and Kristin Burr and Andrew Gunn are producing it. Directed by Mark Waters, this early-millennium film is the story of an overworked mother and her daughter who can’t get along with each other. When they switch bodies, each of them is forced to live the other’s life for one crazy Friday. The film was a remake of the 1976 Disney film starring Jodie Foster and Barbara Harris.

Cooper is a Tony Award-nominated actor, playwright, producer and director. Cooper is the youngest Black American playwright in Broadway history. His highly acclaimed play Ain’t No Mo received six Tony Award nominations, including Best Featured Actor in a Play for his role as flight attendant Peaches.

On TV, Cooper starred in BET’s show Ms. Pat Show, which he also created, executive produced and directed. Cooper also co-created FX’s to erect as MC Tyrone. He has his own production company, Cookout Entertainment, according to the report deadline.
