Julianne Moore, Millie Alcock and Meghann Fahy to star in Netflix limited series Siren. The series is being described as a dark comedy.
Sound Written by Molly Smith Metzler and based on her play Elemeno Peas. Metzler had previously created the miniseries Maid. The first two episodes will be directed by Nicole Kassell, who will also executive produce.
According to reports, the series takes place over the course of a weekend at a beach. Diversity. The official description of the web series reads, “Devon (Fahy) thinks her sister Simone (Alcock) has a very creepy relationship with her new boss, mysterious socialite Michaela Cale (Moore). Michaela’s cult-like life of luxury is an addiction to Simone, and Devon decides it’s time to intervene. When Devon seeks out her sister to say WTF, she has no idea what a fierce rival Michaela will be.”

Metzler serves as a writer, showrunner and executive producer Siren. Tom Ackerley and Margot Robbie also serve as executive producers.
