Panchayat’s Durgesh Kumar aka Bhushan bought his first house in Mumbai after facing hardships for years. The actor, who rose to fame courtesy the TVF show, shared a picture of the keys on his Instagram feed. Durgesh Kumar wrote, “Apna ghar… in Mumbai. Thank you Babuji Harekrishna Choudhary ashirwad ke liye (My father Harekrishna Choudhary’s blessings are always with me).” Fans flooded the comments section with love. Earlier in an interview with Lallantop, Durgesh Kumar recalled his days of struggle and told how he faced depression twice in 11 years. He also told how he is getting more offers after Panchayat. Durgesh Kumar, who comes from Darbhanga in Bihar, told Lallantop, “To become an actor you need to be psychologically, physically, mentally, emotionally and financially prepared. I have faced depression twice in 11 years. Unless you are psychologically, financially and mentally healthy, please do not come into the field of acting. I am saying this with complete honesty.”
Durgesh Kumar made his film debut with Imtiaz Ali’s film Highway. He also worked in films like Sultan, Freaky Ali, Dhadak, Janpath Kiss. ​​However, he gained fame from Panchayat. In recent times, he was seen in films like Missing Ladies and Bhakshak. Panchayat also stars Raghubir Yadav, Chandan Roy, Faizal Malik and Ashok Pathak.
