The Justin Baldoni vs. Blake Lively legal battle is getting bleaker by the day. Actor-director who was accused of sexual misconduct by Blake Lively and other crew members it ends with usclaimed she had an “aggressive” confrontation with Ryan Reynolds (husband of actor, Blake Lively) last year in her new lawsuit against The New York Times.
According to the report, Mr Baldoni claimed Ryan Reynolds “intimidated” him during a heated argument at the couple’s Tribeca penthouse in New York after the actor accused the director of “fat-shaming” his wife. New York Post.
The lawsuit notes that Mr. Baldoni had back problems so he wanted to make sure he could lift Blake Lively for a scene in the film. That’s why he reportedly asked how much Blake weighed before performing the scene. However, Blake reportedly “refused to perform” the scene with Mr. Baldoni despite rehearsing “with a stunt double”.
“The confrontation that followed was so aggressive that Baldoni was forced to apologize repeatedly,” the lawsuit said.
“Baldoni, in an effort to avoid further confrontation with Lively and Reynolds and to rekindle rapport with his co-star, continued to bow to her will,” the legal filing said.
Mr. Baldoni also claimed that Ryan allegedly pressured his agency, WME, to fire him during that time deadpool and wolverine premier in July, before Mr. Baldoni appointed his own crisis management team.
However, a representative for WME denied allegations that Ryan Reynolds or Blake Lively pressured the company to drop Justin as a client.
Justin Baldoni’s $250 million lawsuit was filed on Tuesday. The lawsuit involves 10 plaintiffs who are suing the Times for false invasion of privacy over its December 21 article “‘We Can Bury Anyone’: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine.”
Meanwhile, Blake Lively filed a new lawsuit in a New York federal court after filing an 80-page complaint with the California Department of Civil Rights. In the new lawsuit, Blake Lively demands monetary compensation from Justin Baldoni for mental anguish, suffering, severe emotional distress and lost wages.
Blake Lively’s lawyers responded to Mr. Baldoni’s lawsuit in a statement to The Post.
It reads in part, “This lawsuit changes nothing about the claims made in Ms. Lively’s California Department of Civil Rights complaint, nor her federal complaint filed earlier today. This lawsuit is based on patently false grounds. The move by Wayfarer and others against whom Ms. Lively has an administrative complaint is based on Baldoni’s ‘choice not to file suit against Wayfarer’ and that ‘litigation was never its ultimate goal’ Was.’
Blake Lively received support from many Hollywood bigwigs in her fight against Justin Baldoni. Following the complaint, Mr. Baldoni was dropped by his agency.
