The drama surrounding Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively shows no signs of slowing down. The 40-year-old now faces legal action from his former publicist, Steph Jones, who runs public relations firm Jonesworks. According to Variety reports, Jones is suing Baldoni for breaching her contract, which stipulated a monthly payment of $25,000 for her services.

Justin Baldoni sued by his former publicist
In August, the actor parted ways with Jonesworks after his publicist Jennifer Abel left the company to start her own company. Jones has also accused him and publicist Melissa Nathan in her lawsuit, where she claims they launched a “smear campaign” against Lively without her knowledge, The New York Post reports.
“To this day, Abel and Nathan continue to falsely point the finger at Jones now that their own misconduct is coming to light, and to defame and attack Jones in the industry,” the lawsuit states.
On Sunday, Gossip Girl filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, where she accused the actor of sexually harassing her on the set of their recent film, It Ends with Us. He also accused them of a “coordinated effort to destroy his reputation” after the film’s release. In legal paperwork, she noted that the alleged defamation campaign caused serious harm to her business and caused “severe emotional distress” to her family.

Balden’s response to Lively’s lawsuit
Once the lawsuit was publicized, Baldoni’s attorney Brian Friedman told The Post, “It is shameful that Ms. Lively and her representatives would make such serious and patently false allegations against Mr. Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios and its representatives. ,This is another desperate attempt.” To ‘fix’ his negative reputation.”
In the lawsuit, Lively alleged that her co-star, who was also the director of It End’s With Us, destabilized the set.
