Justin Bieber performed at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s sangeet ceremony
Canadian pop star Justin Bieber entertained some of India’s biggest celebrities in the latest installment of the months-long wedding celebrations for the son of Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani.
Bieber, who rose to fame as a teen heart-throb, is among several global celebrities who have come to India to attend the wedding ceremony of Ambani’s younger son Anant and fiancée Radhika Merchant.
She and Merchant (both 29) were childhood friends and are set to marry in a three-day Hindu ceremony starting July 12.
Bieber, who arrived from Los Angeles, was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Friday morning wearing an oversized pink T-shirt and bucket hat.

Footage of his concert at the financial center that night was shared on social media, showing him performing his 2015 hit song “Sorry” in front of hundreds of VIPs.
Bollywood star Salman Khan and former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni were among the celebrity guests present on Friday.
According to Indian media reports, Bieber was rumoured to be paid up to $10 million for the performance.
Anant Ambani and Merchant have already hosted two lavish and star-studded parties ahead of the main event this month, including a three-day celebration in Gujarat in February.

There, Rihanna performed her first concert since last year’s Super Bowl, attended by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and former US President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka.
In June, the couple went on a four-day Mediterranean trip, where singer Katy Perry performed a masquerade ball at a French palace in Cannes.
The Backstreet Boys, American rapper Pitbull and Italian singer Andrea Bocelli also provided entertainment.
Anant’s billionaire father is no stranger to throwing expensive weddings.
He hosted India’s most expensive wedding ever for his daughter in 2018, which reportedly cost $100 million and also featured a performance by American singer Beyonce.
Ambani, 67, chairman of Reliance Industries, has a net worth of over $113 billion and is the 11th richest person in the world, according to the Forbes billionaires list.
He is also a key aide of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.
Ambani inherited a prosperous industrial enterprise in the oil, gas and petrochemicals sector.
He grew it into a business giant with lucrative interests in retail, telecommunications and an Indian Premier League cricket team.
Merchant is the daughter of a prominent pharmaceutical tycoon.
