Justin Timberlake reportedly refused to take a breath test and was arrested on DWI charges in Sag Harbor, New York last Tuesday.
The pop star’s photo was released following his arrest on Tuesday morning.
In the photo, the Friends With Benefits star can be seen with “glassy” and “red” eyes, as stated in the police complaint.
Timberlake was arrested while he was having an evening of drinks with friends at the American Hotel. Police were already stationed outside the place where Timberlake and his group were dining. When he left the hotel after midnight, officers immediately stopped him for a traffic violation.
Timberlake reportedly violated a stop sign and was seen turning his car around.
An insider told Page Six, “His friends were telling the police, ‘Let him go, let him go.’” The father of two “did poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests” and refused to take a Breathalyzer.

The policeman was so ‘young’ that he didn’t even recognize Justin
The policeman who stopped Timberlake was reportedly so “young” that he didn’t even recognize the Grammy-winning singer. “He didn’t recognize him or his name,” the insider explained.
Another insider told the outlet, “Justin quietly said, ‘This will ruin the tour.’ The cop replied, ‘What tour?’ Justin said, ‘World tour.’”
Timberlake was taken into custody and charged with one count of driving under the influence and two additional traffic violations: failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to stay in the proper lane. The pop star was “distracted, slurred speech, unsteady on one leg.”
Just hours after his arrest, the Mirrors singer was spotted leaving the police station. He was wearing a black baseball cap and sunglasses, as well as a gray vintage T-shirt, black jacket, blue jeans, and white Nike Air Force 1 sneakers.
According to the criminal complaint, Timberlake showed several signs of intoxication during the traffic stop. His eyes were “red” and “glassy” and his breath “smelled strongly of alcohol.”

However, after being arrested, Timberlake claimed he had only drunk “one martini.”
Timberlake’s attorney, Eddie Burke Jr., said, “He was a gentleman. He didn’t show any qualms. He refused to stand trial, but that’s his right.”
The Selfish singer’s next court date is set for July 26.
