Justin Timberlake’s ego shattered: Young cop unaware of his fame, album flops, trolls rage

Justin Timberlake has had a lot of bad experiences lately. First, his DWI arrest made headlines, but then things got a little weird when the arresting officer reportedly didn’t even recognize him. The singer known as the Prince of Pop recently had to deal with a police officer who was so young that the latter was unaware of his fame. This may sting a bit, but it wasn’t the only setback. His new album, which many expected to be a major comeback, didn’t do well in the charts.

Young policeman fails to recognise Justin Timberlake

A source told Page Six that the recent setbacks have bruised Justin Timberlake’s ego. An insider explained, “Justin said in a hushed voice, ‘This is going to ruin the tour.'” The young arresting officer replied, ‘Which tour?’ When Justin clarified, ‘World Tour,’ the police officer who had caught him driving drunk still didn’t recognize the Grammy winner – much to the amusement of the internet folks who started trolling the singer.

Justin Timberlake’s album flopped

The photo released on Tuesday after the 42-year-old’s arrest went viral within hours. The musician’s eyes appear “glassy” and “red” in the picture, as stated in the official police document. He was stopped and taken into custody on Long Island, New York, after leaving The American Hotel in Sag Harbor on June 18. Now, it has been reported that his latest album Everything I Thought It Was, has dropped off the Billboard 200 in just four weeks and that’s not very ‘Timberlake’.

“The album didn’t do very well and I don’t think Justin will get any major roles anytime soon,” an insider told the entertainment outlet. “I think Justin has a bad image in Hollywood, he’s a bully and a troublemaker,” they added.

According to sources, Justin Timberlake is set to take the stage in Chicago this Friday and perform at Madison Square Garden next week. However, it seems his usual confidence might be a little shaken. The ex-NSYNC star was reportedly shocked by the fact that police officers weren’t already on the lookout for him due to his ongoing tour. Forget Tomorrow World Tour ticket sales are reportedly showing a sluggish trend, and “his golden boy image is definitely gone.”

Justin Timberlake trolled on the Internet after DWI arrest

One X user commented, “I already feel like ‘this is gonna ruin the tour. World Tour’ is going to be part of my vocabulary for the next six months.” Another added, “Honestly, if Justin Timberlake had told me “this is gonna ruin the world tour”, I would have asked “Trolls World Tour?”
