Kajari Teej 2024Kajari Teej, also known as Badi Teej or Hariyali Teej, is celebrated by women especially in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. It is celebrated on the third day of the month of Bhadrapad in the Hindu calendar, which falls on August 22 this year. For the prosperity and well-being of their husbands, married women observe fasts, wear their best clothes, apply mehendi and worship Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. In an effort to find a suitable husband, unmarried women also participate, and all the women offer Shringar gifts to Goddess Parvati in return for her blessings.
