The manufacturers of the upcoming mythological horror “Ma” have unveiled a powerful new track called “Kali Shakti”, characterizing Kajol in a tribute to Goddess Kali.
The song mixes divine intensity with striking scenes, marking the return of Usha Uthup’s grand music, which captures the spiritual essence and strength of the goddess. Kajol took the song on Instagram to share the song and wrote, “Guard.
The newly released track “Kali Shakti” pays a powerful tribute to the fierce female energy of Goddess Kali. The song has a divine power to give a stirring message of the final victory of good over courage, justice and evil.
Kajol takes the center stage with a deep and emotionally charged dance performance that anchors the track. Grained in vermilion and inspired by raw spirit, her movements embodied the unstoppable force of mother Kali – a mother’s anger, strength and unwavering will to protect her child.
With this devotional track, singer Usha Uthup made a grand comeback in cinema. The song is composed by Harsh Upadhyay, with an influential songs by Pranav Vats. Supported by Jio Studios and Devgn films, “Maa” is produced by Ajay Devgan and Jyoti Subbarayan, in which Kumar Mangat is serving as a co-producer.
Speaking about Ajay Devgan as a manufacturer, ‘Dilwale’ actress told IANS, “He is really a good creator, he is a excellent creator. He is one of the producers on those many hands. Therefore, from scripting to VFX, from scripting to VFX, he has really ensured that he is a part of all and ensures that he does all the work.”
Directed by Visal Furia, the upcoming horror drama also includes Ronit Roy, Indranil Sengpta, Getin Gulati, Gopal Singh, Surjayaskha Das, Yaneya Bhardwaj, Rupakatha Chakborty and Kirin Sharma.
The film is slapped to hit theaters on 27 June 2025.
