The day of Kalashtami is a day for devotees to observe a strict fast. It is believed that those who observe this fast are blessed with wealth and happiness. Reciting the Kaal Bhairav ​​Katha and chanting the mantras of Lord Shiva is considered auspicious on this day. In the evening, devotees also visit temples dedicated to Lord Kaal Bhairav ​​and perform special prayers. This day is dedicated to Brahmin feasts.

Apart from this, it is also customary to feed dogs on this day as it is believed that the black dog is a symbol of Lord Bhairava. Milk, curd and eatables are given to dogs on this day.

It is said that worshipping Lord Bhairav ​​on this day removes all the troubles and obstacles from a person’s life. May Lord Bhairav ​​bestow wealth and prosperity to everyone on this day of Kalashtami.

Every month on the Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha, devotees celebrate Kalashtami, which is an important occasion for those who wish to receive blessings from Lord Bhairava. He is considered a protector against evil forces, bestowing success, bravery and freedom from spiritual bondages. On this day, devotees visit Bhairava temples, perform puja, recite mantras and observe fasts.
