Only a few hours left for the first show Kalki 2898 ADThe social media handles of the makers are sharing the sale numbers of the premiere shows of the film. Starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, the film is directed by Nag Ashwin.
Cineworld Cinemas, Britain’s leading cinema chain, has reported that over 20,000 tickets have been sold for the film’s premiere and first two days.

The producers also confirmed that pre-sales for the film’s North American premiere had crossed the three million dollar mark.
The number of tickets sold in North America has crossed the 100,000 mark.
The makers have not revealed official numbers on the Indian premiere, though there have been several news reports on ticket sale prices in cities such as Mumbai. MintBKC’s Maison INOX: Jio World Plaza is selling tickets for the film at Rs 2,300, while Worli’s Atria Mall’s The INOX: Insignia and Lower Parel’s PVR Icon: Phoenix Palladium are selling tickets for Rs 1,760 and Rs 1,560 respectively, excluding taxes. Based on another article, Gurugram’s PVR Director’s Cut theatre is selling tickets for Rs 1850 before taxes for the 3D version of the film, while Delhi’s Epicuria and PVR Select Citywalk are selling tickets for Rs 1670 and Rs 1700 respectively for the 3D version.
Interestingly, the Andhra Pradesh government, which had put a cap on ticket prices, has allowed an increase in the price of the film’s tickets. As per the order, the government has allowed five shows instead of four per day for 14 days after the release, and the ticket price for single screen theatres has been raised to Rs 75, while tickets for multiplex screens can now go up to Rs 125. As per reports, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions alone have contributed over Rs 27 crore in advance sales.
