Mumbai: Prabhas starrer much-awaited film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has released in theatres today, fans have flocked to cinema halls to watch the film and their favourite stars on screen. The film stars actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan.
Crowds of fans can be seen outside theatres at different places. A large number of people turned up to watch ‘Kalki 2898 A.D.’ at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. They can be seen in a celebratory mood, dancing to the beats of dhols.
People also put up cutouts and posters of actor Prabhas.
Similar enthusiasm and excitement was seen among the fans in Mumbai too. Many people reached a cinema hall in Chembur, Mumbai to watch the morning show.
Speaking to ANI, a Prabhas fan expressed his happiness and said, “We have come here from Alibaug. We are big fans of Prabhas.”
Another fan said, “Prabhas looks good in the movie. Such big movies come in 2-3 years. It’s a good movie…”
Meanwhile, the makers of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ recently released an interesting poster of Kamal Haasan’s character Yaskin. Taking to their official Instagram handle, the makers have released a new poster for fans.
He captioned the poster, “The only Supreme Yaskin.. @ikamalhaasan.”
Kamal Haasan is seen bald in the poster and a crack is visible on his head.
The poster reads “Supreme Yaskin”.
Kamal Haasan’s new avatar and his look has been in the headlines ever since the trailer was released.
Praising Kamal Haasan’s appearance in the trailer, ‘RRR’ director SS Rajamouli recently said, “I am still stuck on Kamal sir’s look and how he amazes as always. Naagi… can’t wait to immerse yourself in your world on the 27th.”
Recently the makers released a new trailer of the film.
The trailer begins with Amitabh Bachchan’s character, Ashwatthama, talking to Deepika Padukone’s character, saying, “They say the entire universe resides within God. But God himself resides in your womb.”
The second trailer introduced more characters.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, this post-apocalypse film is inspired by Hindu scriptures and is set in the year 2898 AD. Disha Patani is also a part of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. (ANI)
