Sarod expert Amjad Ali Khan, Sarangi player Kamal Sabri as well as film stars Akshay Kumar and Kamal Haasan paid tribute to Zakir Hussain and called the tabla player a “phenomenal” and “one of the most loved Indian musicians in the world”.
