Mumbai: Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is ready for her much awaited start at the Cannes Film Festival 2025.
The actress will participate in the prestigious event with her team for the film ‘Homebound’, which will be depicted in some honor section of the prestigious United Nations on May 21, 2025.
As the enthusiasm was made before the premiere, Kapoor was seen at the Mumbai airport in the early hours of Monday, the style and sophistication were expanded in a chic dress. The actress looked spontaneously elegant in the top of a black high neck, adding with fitted black pants and formal shoes.
She completed her airport look with a burgundy jacket, smooth black sunglasses, and a stylish handbag, which added a touch of nature in her organization. Fans and Paprazi caught a glimpse of Kapoor as he prepared for his visit to French Riviera.
This year, the introduction of camphor in Cannes has special significance, as it marks the premiere of ‘Homebound’, a film directed by Neeraj Ghaywan.
The unique story and brilliant performances of the film are set to captive the audience. ‘Homebound’ also stars Ishan Khat and Vishal Jethwa with Kapoor.
Before the introduction of Cannes, filmmaker Karan Johar, who is producing ‘Homebound’, took the first poster of the film on Instagram to share.
The poster stars Khat and Jethwa in the lead roles, which gives a glimpse to Johar fans to expect. The caption on his post reads: “Some bonds take us. Presenting the first poster for homebound, directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and starring Ishan Khat, Vishal Jethwa and Janhvi Kapoor. Premier at the Cannes Film Festival on 21 May 2025.”
The veteran Hollywood director Martin Schoers has appeared on the board as an executive producer of ‘Homebound’. Director Neeraj Gaywan is also making his comeback in Cannes, where his previous film, ‘Masaan’ (2015) attracted global attention.
Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Maches’ was shown in some honor segment of the United Nations and praised him, making it one of the most memorable films of the festival of that year.
‘Homebound’ is produced by Karan Johar, other Poonwal, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra. Co-producers include Marrijk de Suja and Melita Toscan Do Plantar.
