The homebound of Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khat has been selected for the prestigious United Nations in the Cannes Film Festival 2025. Next to the film screening, Janhvi’s sister Khushi, BFF Orri and rumor boyfriend Shikhar Pahiya arrived to attend the film’s screening at French Riviera. Happy photos of the bunch have emerged online.
In the pictures, the trio is provoked by Karan Johar. They can be seen wearing their contingent best clothes and presented to the camera to brighten their bright smile.
Karan Johar shared pictures from 1 on the day of the festival. He portrayed carpet peach with his checker three-tukra suits. “Yes we Cans! Day 1,” he captioned the post.
Meanwhile, Ishaan Khatar shared his set of photos with a caption from Cannes: “Bonjor Festival Day Cannes.”

Sharing the update, filmmaker Karan Johar wrote on Instagram, “Homebound is an extraordinary confluence of talent, vision and story in its best. A true legend of cinema, being @martinscorsesesesese_, gives Neeraj’s remarkable vision to his intelligence and support to a rare artistic height.
“With an incredibly talented artists and the iconic phase of the ear, we are eagerly eager to share the powerful story of homebound with audiences around the world!”
In the official note shared by Karan Johar, Martin Scorscs praised the homebound. “I watched Neeraj’s first film Masan in 2015 and I like it very much, so when Melita Torskan du Plantar was my second film, I was eager. I loved the story, culture, and was ready to help.
“Neeraj has made a beautifully prepared film which is an important contribution to Indian cinema. I am happy that the film is an official selection in a certain relationship with the United Nations this year,” Schoers’ said.
Earlier, the issues of Ghaywan, in which Vicky Kaushal, was depicted, were also displayed in the ear and won the same category in 2015.
