Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut, BJP MP from Mandi, on Thursday criticized Zoharan Mamdani, a contender for the post of famous filmmaker Meera Nair and a new York Mayor, for her Hindu and pro-Pakistani views.
In a message from the social media platform X, the National Award winning actress shocked Zoharan’s disgusting views about India.

“He seems more Pakistani than Indian,” Kangana wrote.
The Mandi MP also raised ‘Bharat’ the marriage of Meera Nair from the famous writer Mahmood Mamdani (of Gujarati), and wondered why his 32 -year -old Muslim son appeared “ready to erase Hinduism”.
On a sarcastic note, the BJP MP wrote, “met Meera ji on some occasions to congratulate the parents on a separate note.”
Kangana’s message began with the onset of Indian American mother -born Uganda. “Her mother is Meera Nair, one of our best filmmakers, a Padma Shri, a beloved and famous daughter, born in Great India in New York and grew up, she married Mahmood Mamdani (Gujarati origin), who is a famous writer, and obviously Zoharan is more Pakistani than Indians.
He said, “Whatever happened to his Hindu identity or bloodline and now he is ready to erase Hinduism, wow !! This is the same story where everywhere is,” he said.
One of the social media users reacted by tagging an old video of Zohran Mamdani on Kangana’s message, in which he is heard presenting himself and criticizing the Government of India and Babri Masjid demolition.
The video, which could not be verified independently by IANS, reportedly showed Zoharan, protesting with the Sikh agitators in New York.
Zoharan won a historic victory at NYC Mayorl Election Primary on Tuesday, with Republican Frank T for the top position in the city hall. A demonstration was established against Donovan on 4 November.
Earlier, competing similar views as Kangana about Zoharan, senior Congress leader Abhishek Singhvi said on X, “When Zoharan Mamdani opened his mouth, Pakistan’s PR team shuts down the day. India does not need enmity with” colleagues “from New York.
