Mumbai: Kangana gave the latest information about the film to fans through X.
The poster also features Kangana Ranaut, who plays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, along with Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair and Milind Soman.
Sharing the poster featuring the cast, he wrote, “Watch the darkest hour in democratic Indian history and the lust for power that almost burned the nation to the ground! #KanganaRanaut’s #Emergency trailer releases on 14th August. The explosive saga of #Emergency, the darkest chapter of Indian democracy, will unfold in cinemas worldwide on 6th September.”

The political drama, which depicts an important and controversial period of Indian democracy, is set to release in cinemas worldwide on September 6, 2024.
Directed entirely by Kangana Ranaut, ‘Emergency’ also stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair and late Satish Kaushik in lead roles.
Produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films, the film is set against the backdrop of one of India’s most tumultuous political periods, and promises to depict historical events.
Featuring screenplay and dialogues by Ritesh Shah and music by Sanchit Balhara, ‘Emergency’ aims to enthrall the audience with its depiction of an important chapter in India’s political history.
