Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut is known for her mind to speak. The ‘Queen’ actress, through her latest social media post, revealed some low-finished facts about Yeslantry Diva Meena Kumari.
Sharing an anecdote with Kamal Amarhi’s classic drama “Pakjaah”, Kangana shared that Meena Kumari herself designed the iconic clothes worn by her in the film. Sharing some glimpse of Meena Kumari’s look with the play, Kangana wrote on her Instagram stories,
“Who designed Meena Kumari’s prestigious dress in Rakjah?”
“The actress herself designed iconic costumes,” he said.
Subsequently, he wrote, “Her green dress with pure gold embroidery is still remembered by her fans.”
Kangana shared, “Her organization reflected her deep understanding of character.”
He concluded, saying, “He personally cured his look and sourced his jewelery.”
Kangana further raised a very important point of how our society is accustomed to object to women, completely ignoring her intellect.
The “emergency” actress shared, “Do we know this? Also, do we know that she was also a great poet and a lyricist? The talent of a beautiful woman always decreases, so that she can easily have sex and never intellectually.”
Talking about its professional commitments, Kangana will further part of an untital drama in front of R Madhavan. It is said to be a thriller, the film is starred by Al Vijay.
It is still a titled Project, which marks Kangana and R Madhavan’s on-screen reunion after the 2015 blockbuster, “Tanu Weds Manu Returns”. The team has already concluded shooting for the film.
Released in 2023, the PAN-India project is expected to be released in both Hindi and Tamil. The play will feature music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
