Kanye West missing: Lawyer says rapper has ‘ghosted’ him after legal bill; ‘He won’t speak’

Kanye West’s name has become synonymous with controversy these days, with the rapper at times being involved in activities that can shock people. Now, his lawyer claims that Yeezy has disappeared like a ghost. Not only is he allegedly refusing to communicate, but the lawyer claims that an outstanding legal bill has not been paid. This comes after news broke a few days ago that the Yeezy owner was visiting Moscow, which has not yet been officially confirmed.

Kanye West’s lawyer claims rapper refuses to talk or pay: report

According to a recent ABC 7 report, Kanye West’s lawyer, who is handling a lawsuit filed by an autograph dealer who alleges the rapper punched him when he asked for an autograph, now wants to withdraw from representing West. The lawyer claims West has stopped communicating and hasn’t paid fees. In legal documents, Broomfield claims West ended their professional relationship on June 21.

“The Defendant will not speak to counsel and the Defendant refuses to pay counsel,” the new document states.

Kanye West charged with assault and battery

Justin Poplawski and Tiffany Marshall sued Kanye West for alleged assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligence in a legal battle that began on January 10, 2024. The lawsuit revolves around an incident in which West’s behavior allegedly turned hostile. According to his legal documents, West attributed his “bad mood” to his ongoing divorce from Kim Kardashian.

However, a recent court filing submitted to Judge Theresa Traber on Monday points to a major development. Kanye’s attorney Brian Broomfield is seeking to withdraw from the case. The filing states that Kanye West has ended their attorney-client relationship.

Kanye West is reportedly facing financial troubles

The Vulture rapper, who faced cancellations and losing endorsements from several brands due to his anti-Semitic rap controversy, is reportedly facing financial difficulties. He was recently spotted flying in economy class with his wife. The 47-year-old rapper has reportedly approached his ex-wife Kim Kardashian for help following his dispute with Adidas.

“Kanye is spending his savings at an alarming rate, and it’s starting to take a toll on his bank balance,” a source told InTouch.

The new developments come just days after West was sued by a former Yeezy employee earlier this month, accusing his management of making racist comments. The employees have also alleged that West’s wife, Bianca Censori, distributed pornographic material to the team that was accessible to underage individuals while they were working on Yeezy’s latest venture, “Yeezy Porn.” Censori vehemently denied these claims in a statement provided to Page Six.
