Kapil Sharma, Salman Khan, Karan Johar and I should participate in Bigg Boss: Anil Kapoor

Mumbai: At a recent press conference for the upcoming season of Bigg Boss OTT 3, veteran actor Anil Kapoor made headlines not just as the host of the reality show but also for his candid revelation about his desire to participate in the show along with top Bollywood stars.

Kapoor said, “When I was 30, I wanted to be one of the participants. And if I get a chance now, I would like to thank Kapil Sharma, Salman sahab and Karan Johar and myself. All four of us should participate in it.” He further added, “Won’t you ask who will host the show then?”, “Amit ji.”

Reflecting on his new role as the host of Bigg Boss OTT 3, Kapoor expressed a sense of excitement and excitement.

Shedding light on his excitement about venturing into unscripted reality television, Kapoor said, “Bigg Boss OTT and I are a dream team! We are both young at heart; people often joke that I am getting old, but Bigg Boss is truly timeless.”

He said, “I have always approached all my projects with honesty and a commitment to hard work and I am going to bring the same energy (times 10!) to Bigg Boss. Unscripted reality has something for everyone – laughter, drama and surprising twists, and I can’t wait to bring my own flavour to it.”

The actor, known for his iconic roles in films such as ‘Mr. India’ and ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, while speaking to ANI in a previous interview, also addressed the inevitable controversies and trolling that come with such high-profile shows.

Kapoor said, “Controversies and trolling will always happen. It happens everywhere these days. Even the biggest leaders and actors get trolled. I always say keep your head down and do your work. Don’t think about all these things.”

Kapoor also shared details about his conversation with Salman Khan, and highlighted the superstar’s support and excitement over Kapoor’s foray into non-fiction hosting.

“Nobody can replace Salman and nobody can replace Anil Kapoor… Bhai (Salman Khan) is very happy… I have spoken to him as well… he is very excited and happy to know that I am doing non-fiction,” Kapoor said, underlining the mutual admiration between the two actors.

‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’ will air on Jio Cinema from June 21.
