Mumbai: Congratulatory messages poured in for actor Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal as the couple became parents to a baby girl on June 3.
As soon as the happy news broke, Varun’s close friends in the industry Karan Johar and Arjun Kapoor took to their respective social media handles to wish the new parents in town.
“My baby boy has been blessed with a baby girl!!!! I am over the moon with joy!!!! Congrats to the proud mom and dad!!! Love you Natasha and Varun (red heart),” Karan wrote on Instagram.
Arjun’s happiness also knows no bounds.
He posted on Instagram, “Baby John has had a baby!!! The casting for Papa No.1 is now finally finalised!!! Congratulations Natasha and @varundvn Niara Abir and Joey have a sister… (red heart).”
After the birth of his daughter, Varun Dhawan was seen outside Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.
In the pictures captured by the shutterbugs, she can be seen walking with her father, filmmaker David Dhawan, and escorting him to his car. She also gave a smiling thumbs up to the paparazzi who greeted her.
While coming out of the hospital, a happy Dada David Dhawan also accepted the good wishes of fans and photographers standing outside the hospital.
Natasha and Varun, who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in 2021, announced their pregnancy in February as they posted a beautiful image in which Varun was seen kissing Natasha’s baby bump.
The Student of the Year actor wrote on Instagram, “We are pregnant need all your blessings and love #myfamilymystrength.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun will be seen in the upcoming action thriller film ‘Baby John’. ‘Baby John’ is directed by A Kaliswaran. Atlee is presenting this film in association with Jio Studios and Cine 1 Studios.
He will also be seen in the Indian adaptation of the Hollywood series ‘Citadel’ alongside actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
It is an Indian adaptation of the Russo Brothers’ series of the same name. Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden play the lead roles in the international version. The release date of the Indian version of Citadel is awaited. Raj and DK have made the Indian version.
She also has ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ in her kitty.
