Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar reacted vigorously to a recent video, including General Dyer’s Parpoti, Caroline Dior during a press conference for his upcoming film Kesari Chapter 2.
In the film, Akshay Kumar has a lawyer C. The role of Shankaran Nair, who fought the lawyer, who fought against the Jalianwala Bagh massacre against General Dyer and the British Empire.
In the video making rounds on the Internet, Caroline is shown speaking with Raj Kohli, whose great-Chacha, Balwant Singh, Jallianwala Bagh was a survivor of the massacre. During her conversation, Caroline shocked Balvant as a “robber”.
Asked a reporter whether he had seen the clip, Karan, who did not put his anger back, said in Caroline, saying that his comment was not only insensitive, but also deep outrageous towards the victims of one of the most dark chapters in Indian history.
“To answer your question, yes, I have watched that video. Not only as an Indian or humanist, but also as any person, it will be angry with that video with an ounce of sympathy and humanity. I do not want to look at my words or do not want to be diplomat in my answer, and I certainly said that she did not say for thousands! Was going to think what happened, and see what happened, “the filmmaker said.
Johar said that Dyer himself had admitted that he only stopped firing when the bullets came out. ”
“And she says in that interview that she loves India and talks all kinds of things how she had the greatest compassion. What could be in your heart when your actions only talk about hatred? The fact that she is in a la-la-la land of her own, and some confusion-I do not know her, and I do not want to meet her, and I want to meet him,” he said.
Saying that it boils his blood when the video comes out, Johar said, “The fact is that he has also said that those things make me very angry at the human level. Blood is open when I saw that video, knowing that he is such a disdain for the biggest massacre in our nation and world history. I also think that he likes me.”
