Mumbai: Ace filmmaker Karan Johar recently shared his views as to why SS Rajamouli’s films often achieve large scale success despite defying traditional arguments. Talking with Komal Nahta, Karan emphasized that the strong belief behind the story of Rajamouli is an important power, which eventually forces the audience to believe in the largest life-long-life scenes.
During the interview, when asked, “When Logic takes a backseat, what happens in front?” Karan responded to any hesitation, determination without hesitation, he said. “It is very important. If you look at the best filmmakers and try to understand their journey, their biggest or most successful films are the result of firm belief. If there is firm belief, the logic will not make any difference. “
Using Rajamouli as an example, Karan explained how his films cannot always follow traditional arguments, but his unwavering confidence in the story suspends the audience mistrust and drowns in the world which he Makes.
Karan especially highlighted Rajamouli’s films like Bahubali and RRR, for example, “Take Rajamouli Sir’s films. Where can you see Logic? You can only see firm confidence in their films. When he comes at the forefront, the audience will also believe in you. ,
He compared the approach to other Bollywood blockbusters, such as Animal, RRR and Gadar. According to him, these films worked not because of realism or logic, but because of the confidence of the filmmaker and the actor.
“It is perfect for all major blockbusters including animals, RRR and Gadar. They were all inspired by strong belief. If a person is shown beating 1,000 people with just one hand pump, it is due to punishment. Anil Sharma believes that Sunny Deol can do this, and as a result, the audience also has this belief. And in Gadar 2, the moment he touches someone, they run away. This is pure belief. ,
Rajamouli’s cinema is known for its largest life story, emotional depth and grand scenery, often describing the real-world physics, but still attracts millions of people. Karan Johar’s perspective aligns with many fans – that Rajamouli’s films are successful because they feel emotions rather than questioning the logic to the audience.
