Mumbai: Actor Vineet Kumar Choudhary has recalled an incident where an elderly fan expressed his heart-felt desire to come from Delhi to the sets of his show ‘Karmadhikari Shanidev’.
Vinit, who plays the role of Shanidev in the mythological serial, recalling his meeting with the elderly fan, said, “Recently, while shooting for ‘Karmadhikari Shanidev’, I got a special surprise on the set from a very sweet fan. An elderly fan along with her son came all the way from Delhi just to meet me.”
“During the conversation, she expressed her belief that I am not just an actor but a medium through whom she can connect with Shanidev spiritually. She insisted that her visit was not just to meet me but to immerse herself in the divine energy expressed in my portrayal of Shanidev. I was completely amazed to hear this,” he said.
Vineet said that playing a character like Shanidev is a unique experience as people develop a divine connection with you through your character.
He said, “I was deeply impressed by the faith of the old fan and I realised that I am much more than just an actor in the eyes of the audience, which cannot be expressed in words.”
‘Karmadhikari Shanidev’ airs on Shemaroo TV from Monday to Saturday at 8:30 pm.
